A single Impact-Based Education engine spanning all nine B.Tech programs and every trimester. Pick a program, then a trimester, then a course to see its full impact analysis: the CO→WK/WP/EA basis, impact categories, the student→course→program cascade, the orientation index, realized impact against targets, and the potential-vs-realised contribution. The model, weights, and formulas are identical across every program — only the curriculum changes.

What is real, and what is pending. All course lists, codes, credits, COs and CO→PO/PSO mappings are verbatim from the Y25 file for every program shown. The deep impact analysis (derived CO→WK/WP/EA, orientation, realized-impact metrics, contribution) is authored per course as a derived layer — currently complete for CSE Trimesters 1–2, with every other course showing its real data and an "analysis pending" marker. Realized-impact figures are sample values, flagged. Nothing is fabricated: where analysis isn't done, it says so.

What this is, and how to read it.

This project measures the real-world impact of an engineering degree — not just whether students pass, but whether their learning goes on to matter. If terms like “outcome-based education”, “Course Outcomes”, or “Washington Accord” are unfamiliar, start here: this section explains the whole idea, and every term, in everyday language. No background needed.

How the orientation index is derived.

Orientation measures how far a course engages students with consequential problems — derived from each CO's Washington-Accord profile, weighted toward the descriptors that encode consequence. It is a potential measure: outcome-attainment is a proxy that can be optimised without improving realized impact, so this index never claims realized impact. Full formula and weights are in the Methodology section.

The same model everywhere. This orientation mechanism, its consequence-weights, and every threshold and formula are identical across all nine programs. What differs between programs is only the curriculum — the COs and their mappings — so the same engine yields a fair, comparable impact picture for any program once its courses are analysed.

All impact figures in this tool are computed from the weights and formulas below — nothing is hand-entered. This section is the authoritative reference: the consequence-weights, strength scale, category tag-weights, status thresholds, orientation bands, and every formula with a worked example. The values shown here are pulled from the same data the calculations use, so they cannot drift out of sync.
